Despite the warmer-than-usual weather there are signs of fall…a big one, local summer fruits and vegetables are no longer available. So now it is our turn to put some fall flavors into our menu.

I am so excited about the oatmeal pancakes layered with granola and topped with brown sugar cream. Of course the stuffed french toast is now filled with apples…a customer favorite. And the Apple-Manchego-Arugula salad with a Shallot Vinaigrette…this is fall on a plate! Just to name a few new flavors…

I am excited…there are so many new grocery items. It was like Christmas the last few weeks…unpacking all the boxes. Some of my favorites…Sonoma Syrup Strawberry Vanilla Syrup…with just a lttile bit of tartness and the right amount of sweetness.

Over the weekend I drizzled it over a roasted plum shortcake… it was so good. And, PB Loco Raspberry White Chocolate Peanut Butter…all you need is toast! Oh and then there is RJ’s Soft Licorice and Eli’s Thins and LA Olive Oil and….
