Two winners have been picked for our special cupcake promotion…Terri Doyle and Laura Eckhardt both won one dozen cupcakes. Terri shared them with her friend that brought her to Southport Grocery, while Laura and her husband decided to eat them all themselves…no, not all on one day!!

On Saturday, June 7th & Sunday, June 8th, Southport Grocery and Cafe will be donating 50 cents of each cupcake sold to the Breast Cancer 3-Day benefiting Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
Today, Komen for the Cure is the world’s largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists fighting to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cures.
Breast Cancer 3-Day is Komen for the Cure’s signature event wherein participants raise $2,200 and take part in a 3-day 60-mile walk in one of 14 U.S. cities, including Chicago.
